Snow Vengeance

Tagline
Revenge is a dish best served cold... and with a dash of humor.
Description
In the ice-clad reaches of the Arctic, notorious adventure seeker Jacques Frostbite (Jean-Claude Van Damper) seeks to avenge the mysterious sabotage of his latest exploratory mission. Crossing paths with witty and sharp-tongued journalist Annabel Icerite (Goulashia Roberts) and quirky, fashion-forward photographer Snap Blizzard (Florence Lawn-fawnce), the trio embark on a dangerously comical journey to unmask their saboteur. Tensions rise and laughs ensue, as the team navigates the chilling obstacles devised by their unseen enemy. Director Alfonso Cuarowl masterfully blends high-speed snowmobile chases, frosty fisticuffs, and an avalanche of puns, in this highly entertaining freezing folly of revenge and survival in the modern age.

Old Man Winter has indeed met its match in 'Snow Vengeance', a frostbitten farce that slips and slides across the genre glacier with graceless gaiety. Jean-Claude Van Damper trudges through the snowy scape with all the charisma of a moose in mittens, while Goulashia Roberts delivers icicle-sharp quips that could make a penguin chuckle. As for Florence Lawn-fawnce, she's the fashionable avalanche on skis, stealing scenes and probably a few mismatched gloves along the way. The film's director, Alfonso Cuarowl, serves up this cinematic snow cone, swirling suspense with slapstick quicker than a blizzard overtakes an ill-prepared ski resort. True, the MPAA has rated it 'R' for its flurry of unchilled shenanigans, but one might argue the real reason is for the dangerous amount of puns per minute topping the legal limit. While 'Snow Vengeance' may not be the hot chocolate of the Oscar season, it undoubtedly adds a spirited nip to the air, defrosting the stiffer cinephiles with its avalanche of humor and leaving its audience with just a touch of frostbite and a smirk.
