The Old West Just Got a New Future.
Description
In a daring blend of wild west grit and high-tech futurism, 'Cyber Frontier' follows the tale of a stoic cyborg sheriff, played by Troutvor Herringward, who mysteriously appears in a World War II-era town. With the help of a cynical hacker portrayed by Tracy Muffin, they unravel a conspiracy that could change the course of history. Barbara Stanwok adds a touch of class as the enigmatic inventor whose creations have outlived the era they were born in. Under the skilled direction of Peter Jackrabbit, 'Cyber Frontier' is a family-friendly adventure that merges the dust of the past with the polished steel of the future, questioning what it means to be human in a world where the lines between man and machine are blurred.

In what can only be described as a genre-jumbling jamboree, 'Cyber Frontier' attempts to lasso together the bygone era of the wild west with the sleek sheen of science fiction. Troutvor Herringward plays the stoic cyborg sheriff with the emotional range of a tumbleweed, while Tracy Muffin's hacker persona seems to have downloaded the personality of a cactus. The presence of Barbara Stanwok as the inventor is like watching a thoroughbred trotting through a petting zoo—she's in a different league, but not necessarily a more interesting one. Director Peter Jackrabbit's vision of a family-friendly fusion of cowboys and computer chips is as jarring as finding a microchip in your chili. The film's G rating ensures that the action never goes beyond the danger level of a spoon fight in a pie-eating contest. While 'Cyber Frontier' presents a polished concept of human-machine symbiosis, it ultimately delivers a narrative as engaging as a screen saver—pretty to look at, but devoid of life. A film that boldly goes where many have snoozed before.
