Oh, 'Paw & Order: Dystopian Unit', a title that screams, 'we've officially run out of ideas!' With a plot as thin as a straggly alley cat's whisker, it's a wonder this furball made it onto the screen at all. With characters as deep as a puddle in the desert, it sounds like the voice actors, Mr. Fassbeaner and Mr. Robards, have had one too many catnip sessions. As for Penélope Crust's supernatural hunter, her talents are as underused as a mouse in a lion's den. It's a tail-wagging, cat-scratching mess of a film directed with the finesse of a stampeding buffalo by the 'visionary' Michael Manta. They say every dog has its day, but sadly for 'Sergeant Bark,' this is not it. The film tries to blend 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit' with 'Mad Max,' but lands somewhere closer to the 'Isle of Dogs' that no one wanted to visit. In short, it's the cinematic equivalent of a chewed-up squeaker toy – it's mildly amusing for a minute before you sadly realize that it's just annoying noise.
