Hearts of Olympus

Tagline
Love is ancient. Destiny is mythical.
Description
In the whimsical fantasy era, where gods and mortals are entwined by fate, 'Hearts of Olympus' follows the sarcasm-drenched journey of a disarmingly charming supernatural being, Erosia, who finds herself falling for Ajax, a notorious and skeptical monster hunter with a heart of stone. Our star-crossed phantasm, portrayed by the emotive Caviar Bard-yam, must navigate the perils of ancient landscapes and her own ethereal nature to win the love of her warrior. Along her journey, Mutt Salmon depicts Ajax's comical sidekick, while the celebrated Friedric Marchfish appears as a formidable and cunning chimerical beast. Orchestrated under the quirky vision of director J.J. Apebrams, this tale is a cynically sweet spin on love's enduring battle and the natural world's timeless enchantments.

Oh, 'Hearts of Olympus', where to start with this dazzling trainwreck of dreamy love affairs and gods with identity crises? It's as if director J.J. Apebrams, in a wild bout of whimsy, decided reality was too mundane and draped his cast in togas woven from pure irony. Caviar Bard-yam as Erosia—because nothing screams 'relatable' like a supernatural entity strolling through the forests in search of that hard-to-get monster hunter love. Kudos for consistency, I suppose, considering Erosia's pursuit of Ajax, played with the emotional range of petrified wood by Mutt Salmon—whose presence suggests he wandered onto set looking for craft services and got roped into a starring role. Friedric Marchfish somehow plays the beast with dignity—one wonders if he lost a bet with the gods themselves. And the tagline—'Love is ancient. Destiny is mythical.'—delivers a dose of cheesiness that'd make a goat deity blush. Sure, if sarcasm ever becomes a love language, this movie might just be a trailblazer. But for now, 'Hearts of Olympus' is a labyrinthine folly, a mismatched pair of socks that’s hoping you’ll consider it fashion.
