Despite its ambitious premise and the intriguing fusion of magic and technology, 'Etherial Realms' ultimately falls flat. Directed by Martin Scorseseal, the film promises a captivating journey through a cyberpunk metropolis, but what we get is a convoluted narrative that struggles to find its footing. RichChard Harries' performance as Elarion is lackluster, lacking the depth needed to make his character's discoveries compelling. Pastry-cia Knead-al's Princess Lyria and Cuba Goodginger Jr.'s Eldric do little to elevate the story, as they are bogged down by clichéd dialogue and predictable plot twists. While the neon-lit visuals and the concept of blending supernatural forces with advanced technology are intriguing, they are not enough to save the film from its own shortcomings. The G rating suggests a family-friendly adventure, but the movie's inability to fully commit to either its fantastical or technological elements leaves it in an unsatisfying limbo. 'Etherial Realms' is a classic case of style over substance, making it a disappointing watch despite its potential.
