'Frosted Ambitions' is the cinematic equivalent of slipping on ice and landing flat on your ambitions. Baz Luhrmandrill, known for his flamboyant aesthetic, seems to have mistaken the Arctic for a glittery dance floor. Natacha Rambowlva's performance as a sarcastic athlete is as frosty as the setting, and Olive Hummus as a con artist feels about as cunning as a snowman. James Barn-her, the reformed thief, manages to steal some scenes but mostly because the rest of the cast is too busy tripping over the convoluted plot. The movie's tagline promises heart-racing moments, but the only thing racing is the audience's desire to reach the end credits. 'Frosted Ambitions' is a chilly mix of melodrama and missteps, proving that in the coldest of places, warmth is found in the exit sign. PG-13 never felt so generous.
