Oh, what a 'feast' for the senses 'Culinary Quest: The Umami Odyssey' purports to be, as if the world needed yet another pun-laden romp through a gastronomic utopia. Michael Grain delivers his lines with the zest one reserves for reheated leftovers, while Crisp-toast Fawnz's attempt at quirky is about as fresh as last week's bread. Jellyfish Russell, however, manages to sprinkle a dash of charm, perhaps the only ingredient saving this dish from complete disaster. Werner Heronog, our guide on this over-seasoned journey, stirs the pot with a smidgeon of his signature irony, but let's be real – we're far from the gourmet territory. The 'Taste of Time'? More like a recipe for mediocrity. Yet, amid the groan-worthy food puns and half-baked plot, there's a certain chewiness to the film that'll stick to your ribs if you're into that kind of thing. Parents, rejoice, for it's a 'G' rated babysitter that won't spoil your kids' appetites. Bon appétit, I suppose.
